its 4 days to the end of the dell social innovation competition. please vote for rhema so we can get a library project for the deaf students in Ghana. its free to vote and will only take a few minutes. kindly click this: http://www.dellsocialinnovationcompetition.com/apex/ideaVote
search for rhema and vote the idea to the semi-finals. you would be a blessing to these deaf students if you do. the target is 5000 people and we have only 230 votes. no one would see you but GOD will and will richly bless you. its urgent! please help. thank you

Hi, I'm currently working in an orphanage in Kasoa, Ghana (just out of Accra) and theres a deaf boy at the orphanage. he can't speak, read, write or sign, thus rendering him helpless to express himself other than be over dramatic, but in an orphanage environment, his dramas aren't very well received and he's been shunned. I'd like to raise the money to send him to a special school, can you please give me the names and contacts of anyone in Ghana that i can get in touch with? Thanks, Kendall.

I met SIlvia 2004. In this time I was at her school as a volonteer (maybe like your sister Liesl). SHe is such a great person. Intelligent, funny, tough, strong and really impressing! It is really special for me reading on this side about a girl I met years ago!
It was really hard to see, that although really smart ( she learnd english after loosing the possibility to hear and see)there is nearly no possibility for her! If somebody had met her after 2004, maybe he could tell, how she is doing.
Thanks for this webside!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is great

Leah,
What an excellent project. My sister went to Ghana and visted the Mampong deaf school. She fell in love with Silvia. Such a touching story! What a truely great inspiration she is.
My sister is graduating this May with a deaf education background. She will be continuing on to grad school. Unfortunately, she wont be able to visit Mampong school again for about 2 years. However, as soon as she is done with grad school she would love to go back to visit Mampong school and help the deaf children. I wanted to give a donation to the school for her graduation present. Would the money go directly to the school? Is there anyway I can write a note to Silvia for her?
