Leah’s Broken Thumb
Yesterday was Leah’s first day back at school. She came home with a big fat swollen thumb. Left hand. She was playing on the monkey bars and hurt her thumb. I took her for an x-ray and Yep! It’s broken. We just can’t stop the adventure! I am just glad it happened here at home, rather than while in Africa.

Oh no! She just can’t let the excitement in her life go! I hope she is on the mend soon, and I agree about better doing it at home than in Africa.

How long is Leah’s thumb going to take to heal? Will she be able to sign?
Never a dull moment, right?
Feel better, Leah!!!!

I hope that Leah’s finger heals fast. I know that there isn’t much you can do for a broken finger.

OUCH!!!
Bummer that it happened, but at least it happened AFTER the ttrip, and that she didn’t go to Africa with that (hot, sweaty, gross cast… yuck…).
Feel better, Leah! Left hand, I hope…

Poor Leah! What an adventurer! I guess Jana and I will have to induct her into our “busted hand” club! Hopefully she’s feeling ok! Get better, Leah!
