Little Broken Bones

When Aaron and I were in Las Vegas last week, Leah broke one of her toes! She was at a roller rink with Alex. They were not skating but climbing up an obstacle course/bounce house. She was standing at the top of a cargo net watching Alex on the rope swing. As she says, “Patiently waiting for my turn!” She lost her balance, and started to slide down the net. As she slid, one of her toes got stuck in the cargo net webbing.

Doesn’t it seem like we are breaking a lot of things? I broke my elbow last May, Leah broke her thumb in January and now her toe! Somewhere in there Aaron had his wrist x-rayed after a “rough” weekend of snowmobiling… he pulled a tendon and had to wear the same hand splint that Leah had for her broken thumb, a larger version of the splint obviously :) Let’s see… Oh, Lucy had an MRI of her brain 2 weeks ago and nothing is broken in there… That’s the good news!

Ouch! Poor girl. Darren loves that play place. I think they have nearly as many pairs of his socks there as we do at home! *crossing my fingers* that you have a broken bone free summer!

I just found this site, We saw you here in Vegas. You did a great job, Rachel. The place was packed!!! Great
weather and location for an outdoor concert. We have been watching your movies for 4 years, our local Headstart
Home visiters have your movies. Too bad we missed the auditions, even my 7 yearold loves you. things will get better,
out toughest time was when my girls were hospitalized 11 times before theis second birthday (twins) EACH with pneumonia.
As if praying for my girls to breathe wasn’t hard enough, our baby had 4-50 partial siezures a day for 10 months, and just
found out he is alergic to milk, eggs, and peanuts!!! Not complaining, I wouldn’t trade my kids for any, but it gets
better, My girls havent been admitted for 1.5 years, David has had no siezures for 2 months, and we just found out my
oldest is not autistic!!! we have the best kids ever, they are very close. Keep faith. have fun in Africa!!!

    love, Jenny
